XLNC Imperium by Nayaat Orientica sits in the Angels' Share by Kilian family of boozy cinnamon gourmands, but the plum and iris give it a different personality. Myrrh adds a darker resinous layer through the middle while sandalwood makes the drydown especially creamy. It delivers the familiar cognac-and-spice mood with more powdery fruit and less pastry sweetness.

Cognac and cinnamon open warm and boozy while plum adds a dark juicy sweetness underneath. Myrrh and iris make the center resinous and powdery, then sandalwood, tonka and vanilla melt into a smooth creamy finish.
