Althair by Parfums de Marly is the inspiration behind Liquid Brun by French Avenue, pairing cinnamon, cardamom and orange blossom with a thick bourbon-vanilla center. Praline makes Liquid Brun sweeter, whereas guaiac wood and ambroxan add more toasted woody weight to the drydown. Liquid Brun takes Althair's refined vanilla spice and pushes it creamier, sweeter and more dessert-like through praline and toasted woods.

Base: praline, ambroxan, guaiacwood, musk
Cinnamon and cardamom warm bright bergamot and orange blossom before bourbon vanilla takes over the center almost completely. Praline adds a toasted sweetness while guaiac wood, ambroxan and musk keep the finish dense, creamy and slightly woody.
Liquid Brun projects confidently at about 4-6 feet for the first 2-3 hours, then shifts into a dense vanilla-wood trail. It wears around 8-10+ hours, with praline, guaiac wood and musk keeping the drydown rich and persistent.
Liquid Brun is at its best through fall, winter and cool spring weather, especially from late afternoon into night. Dates, dinners, holiday events, lounges and colder weekend plans all suit its creamy spice. The woods and cardamom give the sweet vanilla profile a slight masculine lean.
