Viking Beirut by Bharara sits near Bleu de Chanel by Chanel in modern blue-fragrance territory, though its greener character gives it a noticeably rougher edge. Galbanum, sage, geranium and ozonic notes make Viking Beirut earthier and more herbal, although vetiver and oakmoss pull the drydown away from smooth incense-heavy polish. Think of it as a greener, more rugged interpretation of the blue-fragrance idea rather than a direct Bleu de Chanel copy.

Bergamot and lemon cut through bitter green galbanum before sage, geranium and ozonic notes make the center crisp and airy. Patchouli, vetiver and oakmoss then dry the fragrance out, with tonka adding just enough creaminess to keep the base from feeling harsh.
