Vanille Antique by Byredo is the dark vanilla reference behind Vanilla Seduction by Maison Asrar, with plum, vanilla and warm woods creating the clearest connection. Brown sugar and caramel make Maison Asrar much more overtly gourmand, and patchouli deepens the finish. It keeps the moody vanilla idea but turns the sweetness up and the woody austerity down.
