Vanguard by Maison Asrar chases the brighter, darker-fruit version of Aventus found in Absolu Aventus by Creed. Pineapple, grapefruit and spice establish the connection, and cardamom and carnation make Vanguard feel busier through the heart and cashmere musk softens the leather. It offers the same bold fruity-woody direction with a smoother, more crowded middle.

Middle: cardamom, lily of the valley, ginger, carnation
Base: musk, cashmere musk, leather, ambergris, cedarwood, moss
Pineapple and grapefruit open bright and tart while black currant adds a darker fruit tone underneath. Pink pepper, ginger and cardamom spice up the middle before leather, moss and cedar turn the drydown drier and more substantial.
Vanguard arrives with a wide fruity-citrus aura, led by pineapple, grapefruit and black currant before spice and florals move in. The musky leather-and-moss base gives it enough depth to stay present through a long day without losing its crisp structure.
Vanguard is a spring-to-fall scent for work, travel, dinners, outdoor events and smart everyday wear, with late afternoon into evening being especially strong. It leans masculine through the leather, cedar and moss, but the fruit keeps the opening bright rather than severe.
