Angels' Share by Kilian is the inspiration behind Tonka Gold by Atralia, linking cognac, cinnamon and sweet warmth with a smooth gourmand base. Plum gives Tonka Gold a darker fruit note; by contrast, iris and myrrh make the middle softer and more powdery before sandalwood takes over. Tonka Gold trades some of Angels' Share's pastry feel for darker plum, powdery iris and a richer tonka focus.

Cognac, cinnamon and plum open like dark fruit steeping in a warm glass, boozy without smelling raw. Myrrh and iris soften the center before tonka, vanilla and sandalwood make the drydown creamy, smooth and lightly powdery.
Tonka Gold sends out a 3-5 foot boozy-spice trail for the first 2-3 hours before easing into a warm creamy aura. Expect roughly 9-11 hours, with tonka, vanilla and sandalwood carrying the fragrance late into the drydown.
Tonka Gold belongs in fall and winter, especially on evenings when cognac, cinnamon and plum can feel rich without becoming oppressive. Holiday parties, dinners, bars, date nights and dressed-up gatherings all fit. The boozy spice and powdery woods keep it fully unisex.
