Thallium Black by Yves de Sistelle is an original fragrance, so its appeal comes from the way fresh apple and cardamom move into a darker herbal-plum heart. Crisp apple and bergamot pick up a cardamom dusting at first, then plum and nutmeg deepen the fruit without making it jammy. Sage, basil and geranium create a dry herbal layer before tonka, amber and patchouli make the ending feel warm and slightly earthy.
Thallium Black has a noticeable spicy-fruit opening and then moves into a warm aromatic bubble built around plum, herbs and tonka. Wear can stretch through most of a day or evening, with amber and patchouli holding on after the brighter apple fades.
