Taraf Bleu by Amaran takes Erba Pura by Xerjoff as its inspiration but replaces the broad citrus-fruit blend with a much more obvious strawberry-and-raspberry opening. Rhubarb and rose create a tart floral center before patchouli and vetiver make the finish drier and darker than Erba Pura's creamy musk. The resemblance is strongest in the bold fruit-over-musk concept rather than in an exact note match.

Strawberry and raspberry arrive almost syrupy, then rhubarb cuts through the sweetness with a tart green bite. Rose and cyclamen soften the center before amberwood, musk, patchouli and vetiver turn the drydown earthy and much less candy-like.
Taraf Bleu gives off a moderate 2-3 foot berry-floral trail for the first hour or two before gradually becoming softer and earthier. It wears for about 6-8 hours, with amberwood, patchouli and vetiver lasting beyond the brighter strawberry and raspberry.
Taraf Bleu works from spring into early fall, especially for daytime and early-evening plans where tart berries can stay lively. Outdoor lunches, shopping, casual parties, warm-weather dates and weekend outings make sense. The rose and berry opening leans feminine, while vetiver and patchouli pull the drydown closer to neutral.
