Shem by Nishane is the reference behind Sultry Woods by French Avenue, with rose, spice, dark woods and leather creating the refined dry structure. Cardamom brightens the entrance, whereas osmanthus adds a soft apricot-like nuance before vetiver and elemi sharpen the base. The result emphasizes dry leather and resin more than sweetness.

Turkish rose, geranium and cardamom open elegant and spicy before cypriol, osmanthus and amber make the center darker and slightly fruity. Leather, vetiver and elemi dry the fragrance out completely in the base, leaving a structured resinous finish.
Sultry Woods projects about 2-4 feet for the first two hours before the scent turns into a dry rose-and-leather trail. The scent holds for around 7-9 hours, with leather, vetiver and elemi carrying the finish.
