Cocoa Morado by French Avenue takes Oud Cadenza by Maison Crivelli as its reference, recreating the clash of warm spice, sweetness, leather and oud on a massive scale. Dates, caramel and cacao butter push the gourmand side harder, whereas myrrh, incense and labdanum make the drydown especially resinous. Anyone looking for a softer crowd-pleaser should look elsewhere; the appeal here is intensity and texture.

Saffron, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger and pink pepper arrive as a wall of warm spice before dates, caramel, myrrh and incense thicken the center. Oud and leather dominate underneath, with cacao butter, vanilla, tonka and labdanum making the finish dark, sweet and almost tar-like in its density.
Cocoa Morado is enormous, projecting about 5-8 feet for the first 3-4 hours before the scent turns into a dense spiced-oud trail. Longevity reaches roughly 11-14 hours, with leather, cacao butter, labdanum and oud persisting exceptionally well.
This is strictly cool-weather territory, with fall and winter nights giving its spice, dates, leather and oud enough room to breathe. Formal evenings, lounges, outdoor winter events and statement-scent occasions all fit. The dark resinous profile is unisex with a masculine lean.
