Black Saffron by Armaf pairs ginger and lavender with warm patchouli, vanilla, musk and tonka. Amber, sandalwood and vetiver give the base a smooth woody depth that keeps the fragrance from leaning too sweet. The result stands comfortably on its own as a warm aromatic-wood scent with a polished amber finish.

Ginger warms lavender in the opening, aromatic and softly spicy without turning sharp. Patchouli, vanilla, musk and tonka thicken the center before amber, sandalwood and vetiver leave a smooth dry-wood finish.
For about two hours, Black Saffron sits in a 2-4 foot aromatic cloud before gradually becoming warmer and woodier. The full wear lands around 7-8 hours, with amber, sandalwood and vetiver staying steady near the end.
Black Saffron is most at home in fall and winter, particularly from late afternoon into the evening. Dinner, drinks, casual events, work functions and low-key nights out suit its warm aromatic style; lavender, vetiver and sandalwood give the unisex scent a slight masculine tilt.
