Village of New York by Emper also draws comparison to Greenwich Village by Bond No. 9, using lychee, cassis, florals, praline, vanilla and moss as the shared framework. Ambroxan gives this version a cleaner, more diffusive drydown than the sweeter Green Valley Village entry beside it. Greenwich Village fans will notice the familiar fruit-and-praline idea with a slightly cleaner musky finish.

Lychee, cassis and mandarin make the opening bright and juicy before water lily, jasmine and peony wash the fruit with a softer floral feel. Ambroxan, praline, musk, vanilla and oakmoss leave a clean sweet drydown that feels smoother than the opening.
