Inspired by...
Blue Talisman by Ex Nihilo sits close to Turathi Electric by Afnan in style, with both using sparkling citrus, juicy pear and modern musky woods. Turathi Electric adds apple and a warmer vanilla-amber base, making the drydown feel a little rounder. The warmer vanilla-amber finish makes Turathi Electric feel more cushioned and rounded than Blue Talisman.
Best for...
Vacations, rooftop drinks, brunch, office days and warm-weather dates all suit it, and the overall profile stays comfortably neutral. Spring and summer are ideal for Turathi Electric, particularly during the daytime and early evening when its fruit and clean woods feel crisp.
›Fragrance Notes
Top: bergamot, pink grapefruit, pear, mandarin
Middle: apple, cedarwood, orange blossom
Base: vanilla, amber dry, musk, ambroxan
›What It Smells Like
Pink grapefruit, pear and mandarin feel chilled and juicy against bright bergamot, like fresh fruit straight from the refrigerator. Apple, cedar and orange blossom give the middle a cleaner shape, then vanilla, dry amber, musk and ambroxan leave a smooth warm glow.
›Performance
Turathi Electric is most expressive in its bright fruit opening, where grapefruit, pear, mandarin and bergamot create an energetic aura. It becomes smoother as cedar, musk, ambroxan and dry amber take over, leaving a clean trail with good staying presence.
