Supremacy in Oud by Afnan is inspired by Oud for Greatness by Initio Parfums Prive, using saffron, lavender, nutmeg and oud to create a similarly powerful modern-oud profile. Afnan's sweetness is more obvious, which softens some of the medicinal dryness and makes the woods feel rounder. Afnan keeps the same bold oud-spice architecture but smooths the edges with a more obvious sweetness.

Saffron, lavender and nutmeg sit over a dark oud core that feels smoky and slightly medicinal at first. Sweetness gradually rounds the woods while patchouli and musk deepen the base, making the drydown feel like spiced dark timber rather than raw animalic oud.
Supremacy in Oud projects strongly for roughly the first 2-4 hours, with some bottles staying forceful even longer. Longevity frequently reaches 8-12+ hours, and heavier spraying can push the saffron, oud, patchouli and musk base into the 14-16 hour range.
Cold weather gives Supremacy in Oud the space it needs, making fall and winter its strongest seasons. Formal dinners, lounges, special events and nights out are ideal. The scent stays broadly unisex, with smoky oud and saffron adding a darker masculine edge.
