Qaed Al Fursan by Lattafa is often compared with Black XS L'Exces by Rabanne because both can produce a sweet, persistent pineapple impression, though the resemblance stays loose. Lattafa keeps things simpler, building pineapple and saffron over fir, jasmine, oud, cedar and amber. The pineapple link is easy to understand, but Qaed Al Fursan finishes woodier, darker and more resinous.

Pineapple opens thick and almost canned-sweet beside saffron before balsam fir adds a green resinous edge. Jasmine softens the middle, then cedar, amber and oud turn the drydown woody while the pineapple continues hovering above it.
Qaed Al Fursan opens loudly at roughly 4-6 feet for the first two hours, then the pineapple loses some of its bite and leaves a woodier trail. Total wear lands around 6-8 hours, with amber, cedar and oud staying after the fruit calms down.
Spring, summer and early fall are Qaed Al Fursan's sweet spot, especially from daytime into a warm evening. Outdoor events, cookouts, travel and casual parties suit the juicy pineapple profile, while saffron, fir and woods add a slight masculine lean.
