Black Orchid by Tom Ford is the obvious inspiration for Oud 24 Hours by Ard Al Zaafaran, with both leaning into dark florals, spice, patchouli and an almost edible richness. Dark chocolate makes the Ard Al Zaafaran opening sweeter and rougher, while incense and oud give the base a smokier Middle Eastern character. Black Orchid fans can expect the same dramatic mood rather than the same level of polish.
