Ophidian Black Cherry by Paris Corner is inspired by Lovefest Burning Cherry by Kayali, starting from the same dark-cherry and smoky-wood idea. Paris Corner adds raspberry, oud and a stronger incense-patchouli base, which makes the fragrance earthier and more dramatic as it dries. It keeps the seductive cherry mood but moves farther away from a soft gourmand and closer to smoky fruit over dark woods.

Base: tonka bean, patchouli, vetiver, incense
Cherry and raspberry smell glossy and almost wine-dark at first, with bergamot keeping the fruit from becoming flat. Praline and heliotrope briefly soften the center before oud, incense, patchouli and vetiver turn the drydown smoky, earthy and much less sweet.
Ophidian Black Cherry arrives with a dark cherry-raspberry cloud that carries well before oud, rose and incense pull the fragrance into a heavier trail. Tonka, patchouli and vetiver give it around 9-11 hours of wear, with the smoky base outlasting the bright fruit.
