Nitro Blue by Dumont is widely compared with Pegasus by Parfums de Marly, with the resemblance strongest in its creamy, powdery sweet-spice character. Orange blossom and praline establish that connection, whereas cinnamon, basil, black cardamom, patchouli and black amber send Nitro Blue down a warmer path. It feels related to Pegasus without trying to duplicate every note or smooth edge.

Orange blossom, lemon, cinnamon, sage and basil make the opening strangely fresh and warm at the same time. Praline, tolu balsam and black cardamom turn the middle creamy and spiced, then patchouli, black amber and rosewood deepen the sweetness into a darker woody finish.
Nitro Blue has above-average presence, projecting roughly 3-5 feet for about three hours then eases into a dense sweet-spicy trail. Expect about 8-10 hours, with black amber, patchouli and rosewood giving the base staying power.
Fall and winter suit Nitro Blue best, though cooler spring days can also handle its praline, cardamom and amber. Social events, casual dinners, date nights, work functions and weekend outings all fit. The warm spice and dark woods give the otherwise sweet profile a slight masculine lean.
