Imagine almond paste warming in a pastry shop as honey is drizzled over the top, with orange blossom drifting in from a nearby garden. The pistachio comes and goes like a spoonful of cream folded into the filling. Later, vanilla and tonka settle around a glowing amber note, turning the pastry sweetness softer and a little more mysterious.

Mehwish can begin with a generous cloud of almond, honey, and amber, but the strength varies considerably from one person to the next. Its warmer vanilla-tonka side tends to outlast the softer nutty and floral details.
