Liquid Brun Limited Edition by French Avenue revisits the Althair by Parfums de Marly idea with a smoother aromatic opening and an even heavier drydown. Lavender, citrus and cardamom freshen the first stretch, whereas rose and guaiac wood add polish before vanilla, amber, tonka and oakmoss take over. Compared with regular Liquid Brun, this version feels less praline-forward and more powerful, woody and mossy.

Cardamom, lavender and citrus open with a cleaner aromatic feel than the regular Liquid Brun. Orange blossom, rose and guaiac wood smooth the center, then vanilla, tonka, amber and oakmoss create a thick drydown that feels warmer, darker and more persistent.
Liquid Brun Limited Edition is extremely strong, projecting around 5-8 feet for the first 3-4 hours then develops into a powerful vanilla-amber trail. Longevity stretches roughly 10-14 hours, with tonka, amber and oakmoss lingering deep into the drydown.
This is a fall, winter and cool-spring statement scent, best later in the day when its projection and sweetness have room to breathe. Evening events, dinners, parties and cold-weather outings fit it well; cardamom, woods and moss give the vanilla-heavy profile a masculine lean.
