Liam Grey by Lattafa is inspired by Gris Charnel by BDK Parfums, pairing cardamom, fig and black tea with iris and creamy sandalwood. Lattafa keeps the tea dry and adds a little more vanilla-tonka softness, with vetiver and patchouli preventing the base from becoming dessert-like. The resemblance is close, but Liam Grey feels more straightforward and less texturally intricate than the BDK original.

Cardamom warms a dry black-tea accord while fig adds softness without turning jammy. Iris and vetiver make the middle feel powdery and tailored, then sandalwood, vanilla and tonka settle into a creamy woody finish.
Liam Grey keeps a refined 2-4 foot presence for about two hours, then the fig-and-tea opening settles into sandalwood and soft tonka. Expect 6-8 hours overall, with patchouli and creamy woods carrying the fragrance quietly into the later stages.
