Lost Cherry by Tom Ford is the inspiration behind Kyra Blazing Cherry by Fariis, with dark cherry providing the obvious center of gravity. Fariis simplifies the structure dramatically, pairing black cherry with damask rose and palo santo rather than recreating the full almond, booze and balsam complexity. Lost Cherry fans will notice a leaner cherry-and-wood interpretation rather than a dense duplicate.

Black cherry arrives dark and juicy, then damask rose gives the fruit a polished floral edge. Palo santo warms the base with a dry woody smokiness, making the simple three-note structure feel deeper than cherry candy.
Kyra Blazing Cherry creates a moderate 2-4 foot cherry trail for the first two hours then eases into warm wood and rose. Wear lands around 7-9 hours, with palo santo and rose remaining after the black cherry loses some of its richness.
Blazing Cherry is at its best in fall and winter, particularly from late afternoon into night. Dinner dates, cocktail bars, parties, holiday events and dressed-up evenings all fit. The dark cherry, rose and smoky wood keep it comfortably unisex.
