Killer Oud by Paris Corner is built in the style of Interlude Man by Amouage, using oregano, incense, amber resins, oud and leather to create the same dramatic smoky architecture. Paris Corner feels slightly simpler and drier, with the patchouli and sandalwood showing more plainly once the resins settle. The appeal is the same larger-than-life incense experience without sanding away the strange herbal opening.

Oregano and allspice make the first minutes smell green, medicinal and hot before incense starts pouring smoke through the center. Opoponax and labdanum turn that smoke resinous and almost sticky, then oud, leather and patchouli leave a dark woody finish with very little softness.
Killer Oud has real authority, throwing its herbal incense and spice clearly before the resinous heart begins to settle. It stays with you for about 8-10 hours, with oud, leather and patchouli giving the final stretch enough weight to stay noticeable long after the bergamot disappears.
