The opening is all bright citrus peel and ginger, like hot tea being poured over fresh lemon and bergamot. Neroli and cinnamon give the middle a clean, lightly spicy soapiness. As the brightness fades, black tea, ambroxan, guaiac wood, and olibanum leave a dry airy trail with more weight than the opening suggests.

Hectic opens bright and assertive with citron, bergamot, and ginger before black tea and neroli clean up the center. It can project noticeably for the first few hours and usually has enough staying power for most of a day.
