Angels' Share by Kilian supplies the inspiration for Hayat by Al Wataniah, although Hayat pushes the gourmand idea toward cinnamon-dusted dates and praline rather than copying the same formula. Tuberose adds a floral sheen, and myrrh deepens the resinous base. Anyone who enjoys Angels' Share but wants the dessert to feel stickier and fruitier should have fun with this one.

Cinnamon-dusted dates and praline make the opening smell warm and almost sticky, with bergamot adding a small flash of brightness. Tuberose and mahonial create a floral sheen before vanilla, benzoin, tonka, amberwood and myrrh settle into a creamy resinous base.
Hayat projects noticeably to strongly at about 3-4 feet for the first couple of hours, then settles into a warm gourmand bubble. It keeps going for around 7-9 hours, with vanilla, benzoin, tonka and myrrh carrying the resinous sweetness.
Hayat is made for fall and winter, when dates, praline, cinnamon and resin can feel cozy rather than thick. The sweet spice and warm woods keep it comfortably unisex. Holiday dinners, dessert dates, evening gatherings and cold-weather outings suit it beautifully.
