GT by New Brand is widely compared with Acqua di Gio Profumo by Giorgio Armani, and the sea notes, bergamot, aromatics, incense and patchouli make the connection clear. GT is rougher and less polished, with a simpler heart and a more direct, budget-friendly texture. The appeal is the familiar dark aquatic direction at a much more accessible price point.

Sea notes and bergamot open bright and salty before sage and geranium make the center smell clean and aromatic. Incense starts darkening the air underneath, then amber and patchouli turn the drydown mineral, smoky and earthy.
GT kicks off with a strong marine-citrus aura before sage and geranium take over and the projection settles down. Incense, amber and patchouli keep it present through a solid evening wear, though the later hours sit noticeably closer.
Spring, summer and early fall suit GT, especially work, travel, dinners, warm evenings and smart-casual everyday wear. It leans masculine through the aromatic herbs, incense and patchouli, but the aquatic opening keeps it clean and approachable.
