Grow by French Avenue also references Tonka Sarrapia Extrait 75 by Guerlain, but it takes a much creamier and more floral path than 8th Wonder. Dates and saffron lead into custard, rose, sandalwood and a broad bouquet before tonka, labdanum and cedar make the base drier. This version feels less smoky-resinous and more like spiced dates folded into custard with woods underneath.

Dates, saffron, davana, timur and pear open sweet, spicy and slightly fruity before a custard accord makes the middle noticeably creamier. Rose, sandalwood and soft florals fill that creaminess out, then cypriol, labdanum, tonka and cedar dry the base back down.
Grow has a rich 4-6 foot opening for roughly three hours before it settles into a dense date-and-vanilla trail. The fragrance holds for about 9-11 hours, with tonka, labdanum, cedar and dry woods giving the later stages real weight.
Grow belongs in fall and winter, especially from late afternoon onward when dates, custard and saffron have room to unfold. Dinner parties, holiday gatherings, cozy social events and evening dates suit it well. Its creamy fruit-and-floral heart gives the unisex profile a slight feminine softness.
