Cocoa Kimiya by Atelier des Ors is the inspiration behind Eternal Vanille by Lattafa, pairing tart fruit with dark cacao, vanilla and modern woods. Blackberry sharpens the fruity opening; Akigalawood, Ambrofix and cedar make the base drier and more structural than a fluffy vanilla gourmand. This is the vanilla to sample when chocolate sounds appealing but you still want the drydown to feel woody and grown-up.

Blackberry cuts into the opening with a tart edge before cacao and vanilla caviar make the center dark, smooth and almost truffle-like. Benzoin and tonka add warmth later, but Akigalawood, cedar and Ambrofix keep the finish dry enough that it never becomes frosting.
Eternal Vanille opens with a clear 3-5 foot cacao-and-fruit presence for about two hours, then the sweeter notes sink into a darker woody vanilla. Expect around 8-10 hours, with benzoin, tonka and woods giving the later wear real substance.
Cold fall and winter weather gives Eternal Vanille the space its cacao, benzoin and woods need, particularly from late afternoon onward. Dinner parties, lounges and upscale dessert stops suit the darker chocolate-wood profile, which stays comfortably unisex.
