Layton by Parfums de Marly is the obvious reference for Detour Noir by Al Haramain: apple, lavender, vanilla and warm aromatic woods. The opening can be rougher and more synthetic, but the cardamom-sandalwood drydown settles into a very similar cozy space. For anyone curious about Layton's spiced-apple style, a Detour Noir decant is a low-commitment way to see whether that whole profile works for them.
