Arabians Tonka by Montale sits at the center of Cosmic Tonka by French Avenue, pairing saffron, rose and oud with a thick tonka-and-amber base. Bergamot gives the opening a little extra lift, whereas white musk and oakmoss make the finish slightly cleaner and earthier. The key similarity is the huge sweet rose-oud presence rather than a delicate tonka scent.

Saffron and bergamot open bright and metallic before agarwood and Bulgarian rose make the center dark and floral. Tonka, white musk, amber and oakmoss soften the base, but the oud remains the backbone all the way through.
Cosmic Tonka projects strongly at roughly 4-6 feet for the first three hours then develops into a dense rose-oud trail. Longevity runs around 9-11 hours, with tonka, amber and oakmoss keeping the base persistent.
Cosmic Tonka needs cool air, making fall and winter its strongest seasons, especially after dark when saffron, oud, rose and amber can feel opulent instead of heavy. Formal dinners, lounges, evening events and colder social plans all suit it. The dark floral-oud structure is broadly unisex.
