Cognac D'Ange by Montagne was built around the boozy gourmand shape of Angels' Share by Kilian. Cinnamon becomes especially prominent in Montagne's version, while praline and sandalwood make the base feel creamier and more dessert-like. The shared cognac-and-oak warmth is unmistakable, but Cognac D'Ange leans a little more toward cinnamon pastry than refined liquor.

The first impression is a glass of warm cognac dusted heavily with cinnamon rather than a soft vanilla dessert. Praline, oak and sandalwood melt together later, turning the liquor effect into something closer to spiced pastry served on a polished wooden bar.
Cognac D'Ange announces itself with warm liquor and cinnamon then moves into a dense praline, vanilla and oak trail. The scent holds for around 8-10 hours, with tonka and sandalwood keeping the late drydown creamy and substantial.
This belongs in fall and winter, especially for dinner reservations, holiday parties, lounges and date nights from late afternoon onward. Cognac D'Ange is comfortably unisex, with cinnamon and oak balancing the sweeter praline and vanilla.
