Mefisto by Xerjoff gives Citrus Water by Montagne its direction, combining sparkling citrus with lavender, iris, rose and a clean musky-woody base. Montagne keeps the opening especially tart and bright before the iris and sandalwood soften the transition. The resemblance is elegant and easy to recognize, with Citrus Water reading a touch crisper and less plush.

Grapefruit peel, Amalfi lemon and bergamot sparkle like citrus squeezed into cold mineral water. Iris and lavender soften the sharpness before musk, cedar and sandalwood leave the scent clean and quietly polished.
Citrus Water starts out with a bright tart aura of grapefruit, lemon and bergamot, then moves into a softer floral-musk trail. Expect around 6-8 hours overall, with cedar, sandalwood and amber giving the late stage more substance than the citrus opening.
Citrus Water works best from spring through early fall for office wear, travel, brunch, outdoor events and daytime dates. It is fully unisex, and the lemon-lavender freshness feels most natural from morning through late afternoon.
