Acqua di Gio Eau de Parfum by Giorgio Armani is the reference for Checkmate White Knight by Armaf, connecting bright citrus and aromatic herbs to a clean woody base. Pear and elemi make White Knight's opening a little fruitier and more resinous; ambrette and cypriol dry out the finish. White Knight feels fruitier and more resinous up top, then muskier and less marine once the base settles.

Mandarin, orange and pear brighten resinous elemi at the opening, crisp without becoming sugary. Clary sage, angelica and cedar shape the center before ambrettolide, ambrette, vetiver, patchouli and cypriol leave a dry musky-wood finish.
White Knight carries a clean 2-4 foot citrus-aromatic trail for about two hours, then dries down closer and woodier. Total wear is around 6-8 hours, with ambrette, vetiver, cedar and cypriol lasting longest.
