Berlinetta by Maison Alhambra follows the dark fruity-leather direction of Bibliotheque by Byredo, pairing plum and powdery florals with leather and patchouli. Peach makes Berlinetta a little juicier, and vanilla gives the drydown more softness. It keeps the old-library atmosphere but adds a warmer, sweeter cushion around the leather.

Plum and peach open dark and juicy before violet and peony dust the fruit with a soft powder. Leather and patchouli arrive underneath, then musk and vanilla smooth the drydown like worn leather beside sweet fruit.
Berlinetta arrives with a rich plum-and-peach trail that stays noticeable for the first couple of hours before leather and patchouli darken the scent. Expect roughly 8-10 hours, with vanilla and musk softening the leather late in the wear.
Berlinetta feels right when the weather turns moody, especially through fall, winter and cool spring days. Bookstores, art events, dinners, rainy-day plans and intimate nights out fit its dark fruity-powdery character. The scent is comfortably unisex.
