Back Street of New York by Emper is inspired by Bleecker Street by Bond No. 9, sharing violet leaf, berries, woods, patchouli, vanilla and mossy depth. Blueberry and cassis make Emper's opening especially fruity, whereas caramel and suede turn the base sweeter and softer. The suede-and-caramel finish is the clearest reason this version feels less green and more plush than its reference.

Violet leaf feels cool and slightly watery beside blueberry, cassis and thyme in the opening. Cinnamon and cedar warm the middle, then vanilla, caramel, amber, patchouli, oakmoss and suede create a sweet mossy leather finish.
Back Street of New York comes on with about 2-4 feet of berry-and-green projection for two hours before gradually becoming a sweeter suede-and-moss trail. A full wear runs roughly 7-9 hours, with caramel, suede and oakmoss lingering after the blueberry and cassis fade.
