Oud Maracuja by Maison Crivelli is the inspiration behind Azzure Aoud by French Avenue, built around the same collision of tropical passionfruit and dark leather-oud. Saffron and rose brighten the opening, whereas benzoin and patchouli deepen the center before guaiac wood, labdanum and sandalwood build a heavier base. The tropical fruit remains vivid, but this version feels especially dense and woody once it settles.

Passionfruit opens ripe, tart and almost overripe beside saffron and rose before oud, benzoin and patchouli quickly darken the fruit. Leather, guaiac wood, amber, vanilla, labdanum, cedar and sandalwood turn the drydown into a heavy woody wall with tropical sweetness trapped inside it.
Azzure Aoud is a powerhouse, projecting roughly 5-8 feet for the first 3-4 hours then becomes a dense tropical-oud trail. Longevity runs around 11-14 hours, with leather, amber and oud lingering even longer on clothing.
Fall and winter are safest for Azzure Aoud, though a cool spring night can also work if you spray carefully. Parties, outdoor evening events, clubs and statement-scent occasions suit its scale; passionfruit and rose soften the dark oud-leather structure enough to keep it broadly unisex.
