Centaurus by Creed is where Royal Taboo by Aromatix X French Avenue finds its direction, using warm spice, tobacco, amber and vanilla to build a similarly plush cold-weather profile. Heliotrope and jasmine soften the center, whereas patchouli and dry woods make the finish feel darker and less polished. Royal Taboo makes the Centaurus idea more tobacco-forward, rougher around the spice and darker through the finish.

Base: vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli, dry wood
Cardamom and cinnamon hit first over amber and benzoin, creating immediate warmth before fresh tobacco and cashmere wood fill the center. Heliotrope and jasmine add softness, then vanilla, tonka, patchouli and dry woods leave a dense sweet-smoky finish.
Royal Taboo is potent, projecting around 4-7 feet for the first three hours before the scent turns into a rich tobacco-and-wood trail. Longevity reaches about 10-12 hours, with vanilla, tonka and dry woods holding strongly after the spices calm down.
Royal Taboo belongs in fall and winter, preferably later in the day when tobacco, cardamom and benzoin can feel luxurious rather than dense. Formal dinners, cocktail bars, holiday events and colder nights out all suit it. The tobacco-wood structure gives the unisex profile a masculine lean.
