Black Phantom by Kilian is the dark-gourmand reference for Arabesque by Bharara, built around coffee, booze, nuts and deep sweetness. Maple syrup, marzipan and hazelnut make Arabesque feel toastier and nuttier, although the bread-crust accord adds an unusual bakery edge before the coffee-cream finish.
