Ambre Vanille by Montagne is Montagne's interpretation of Althair by Parfums de Marly, built around cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla and a warm woody-gourmand base. Elemi gives the heart a slightly resinous lift, and praline and guaiac wood make the drydown feel nutty and dry at the same time. It keeps Althair's refined vanilla-spice character with a bit more woody texture.

Cinnamon and cardamom warm the bergamot immediately, creating the smell of spice blooming over vanilla rather than sitting beside it. Elemi adds a faint resinous snap, then praline, musk and guaiac wood make the base creamy, woody and quietly toasted.
Ambre Vanille has a strong warm-spice opening, with cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla carrying around you before praline and woods pull closer. The scent stays substantial for roughly 8-10 hours, with ambroxan and guaiac wood giving the drydown real depth.
