Greenley by Parfums de Marly is the inspiration behind Aether by French Avenue, with crisp green apple, citrus and dry woods creating the obvious family resemblance. Petitgrain and violet give Aether a slightly greener middle, whereas cashmeran and amberwood make the drydown smoother and less sparkling. It is a practical take on Greenley's shampoo-clean apple style with a little more dry wood underneath.

Green apple, bergamot and mandarin open crisp and almost chilled before cedar, petitgrain and violet make the middle greener and drier. Cashmeran softens the woodiness, then musk, oakmoss and amberwood leave a clean understated finish.
Aether stays crisp and moderate, projecting about 2-4 feet for the first two hours then becomes a clean green-wood trail. The scent holds for around 6-8 hours, with oakmoss, musk and amberwood carrying the base after the apple fades.
Spring and summer are Aether's natural habitat, particularly from morning through late afternoon when green apple and citrus feel their freshest. Office wear, travel, outdoor lunches and casual dates suit the bright profile, while cedar, moss and musk give it a slight masculine lean.
